"Chuck Wetzel" joins Kenton Beshore, Don Christesen and Bob Brogger for the wall raising of the new Post Mariners building.

In 2003, Mariners Church in Irvine, CA, launched Imagine 2, the building phase of a capital campaign featuring a new worship center and children’s building. To increase awareness, Chris Marcus and I were asked to come up with a video to play at a weekend service.

Instead, we created Sacred Structures, a semi-regular “update series” featuring veteran construction supervisor (and unofficial spokesman) “Chuck” Wetzel. Chris handled the shooting and editing (and created the cool opening graphic). I wrote & directed…and had the awesome privilege of bringing Chuck Wetzel to life.

And so, with the exception of Episodes 1 & 8 (which seem to have gone AWOL), here is Sacred Structures. Enjoy!
